Olutoun
Sanusi-Oladunni B.Pharm, MBA
Project Lead - Africa Vaccine Academy
Olutoun leverages her 14+ years of expertise in pharmacy, public health, and strategic planning to spearhead the vision of the AVA project. An MBA graduate from Lagos Business School (ranked No. 1 in Africa), she possesses a remarkable track record in managing international healthcare projects, honed during her time as a USAID/USP Consultant. Now, as the Team Lead for the AVA project, Olutoun spearheads efforts to create a more self-sufficient Africa in vaccine manufacturing. Her unwavering passion for public health and commitment to innovation make her an invaluable asset to our team.
Dr Ugochi
Ogu Eyong
Director Of Advocacy & Research
Dr. Ugochi is a public health specialist with over 12 years of experience. She holds an MBBCh, an MPH from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, and is a Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP). Her expertise includes monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, immunization, maternal and child health, research, and data analysis. Renowned for her ability to bridge gaps between scientific, medical, and governmental communities, Dr. Ugochi has a proven track record in project management with successful oversight of budgets, grants, human capital, and vendor resources.
Ronald
Kompier MSc
Bioscience Consultant
Ronald Kompier has gained more than 35 years of experience in the
biopharmaceutical industry occupying leading positions in Research & Development,
Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Clinical Development, Regulatory and Life Cycle management.
Currently, Ronald Kompier is Managing Director of the Biotech Training Facility
Leiden.
In addition, Ronald is heading the company Vaccine Consultancy, that is providing international Bioscience Consultancy and Interim Management.
Consultancy assignments ranged from GMP inspections, product development, process & analytical development, animal model development, management of
clinical trials, regulatory support, pre-qualification at the WHO, global product transfer, licensure and distribution of biologicals in the EU up to technology out-licensing.
The issue of vaccines is critical for Africa. We need to improve and be more resilient to advance the continent's vaccination agenda. Our goal is to ensure easy access to vaccines and reduce avoidable, preventable diseases.
